All voltage regulators on this page ship with a pair of 6mm stainless steel Allen head screws to install it.  You will need a 5mm Allen head wrench (not included) to install it.
All VR3 series voltage regulators are Discontinued

I have designed the new VR5 series regulators and have them out in beta testing.  Once I'm confident in the performance,, I will offer them for sale here...

VR3-H3540 - Adjustable Voltage regulator for 350 and 400cc SOHC in-line four cylinder Hondas.

It's the same regulator as the 500~750 use but
with a different mounting plate to better suit the
CB350/4 and CB400SS.

This unit is the same as the VR3-H3p regulator but with the mounting plate changed to better suit the CB350/4 and CB400SS

VR5-KZ - Adjustable voltage regulator for early Kawasaki and KZ400 and KZ650.

Ask if you need a voltage regulator for a KZ750 twin.  We have a couple options for both the early and later models this bike.
VR5-KZ3p - Voltage regulator for early KZ400 and KZ650.

This regulator is the same as above but it has a 3 prong plug  installed and comes with a mating plug for you to install on your bike.  This one is best
for custom bikes or is great to replace the old stock regulator connections on your bike.


VR5-SGT - Regulator for GT series Suzuki triples.  The 3 wire plug Suzuki used is the same as OEM connector other than the locking tab is in a different place.  This unit comes with a new plug for the harness for you to install or you can plug it in as is, but it won't lock in place.

The plug on the left is the stock Suzuki voltage regulator plug that is not longer available.  The plug on the right is the one that ships with the VR3-SGT.
Voltage Regulator for the R5, DS7, RD250, RD350

This regulator comes with micro plugs like Yamaha used on the original regulator.  We supply new plugs for the harness and highly recommend that you install it as well as replacing the plug from the alternator to the wiring harness since the original connectors are almost always trashed. 

We will supply the this with the larger plugs on request.

The wires are the same length as on the original regulator and it mounts to the original regulator mount under the battery.

VR3-YRD
 Voltage Regulator for the R5, DS7, RD250, RD350

This regulator comes with micro plugs like Yamaha used on the original regulator and rectifier.  We supply new plugs for the harness and highly recommend that you install them as well as replacing the plug from the alternator to the wiring harness since the original connectors are almost always trashed. 

We will supply the this with the larger plugs on request.  They are really the way to go and Yamaha agrees or they wouldn't have gone with them on the RD400...

The wires are the same length as on the original regulator and it mounts to the original regulator mount under the battery.

This regulator has the same electronics as our other VR5 series regulators but mounted on a larger plate to fit Yamaha 650CC twins.

A new 3 prong plug is included for the wiring harness or you can use the original plug if you don't want the locking feature.

This unit has short leads and a splice in harness section with 12" long wires so you can cut it to length.  Splicing supplies, heat shrink tube and mounting hardware are come with it.

Connecting this regulator is a snap to wire in, the brown wire is positive from the main switched power lead.  The black wire goes to ground and the green wire goes to the field coil.   We can substitute in micro plugs for use on the Yamaha two stroke twins on special order.
